India achieved 1 billion mobile subscribers

A few days ago, a news has been released in all over the world. This news is very interesting. If we look at the population, India’s population is more than 1.2 billion. This number of population is in the second position in the world.  It is expected that India will achieve the milestone of 1 billion mobile subscribers in very soon.

In the current world, China has more than 1.3 billion population. It achieved in the first position in the population ranking. Already China reached the first position in mobile subscription world.  After that India got this position in this year. It is a red letter year.

According to the report of statistics, the number of mobile phone subscribers have been reached  to more than 1 billion for the first time in Indian history. This data has been released by the telecom regulatory board of India on Wednesday, 30th December, 2015. They showed that India achieved this position after China. It is a great milestone in the current history of the current world.

The number of wireless subscribers in India reached to 1 billion from 996.7 million. TRAI published a news recently that India reached the milestone of mobile subscribers 996.7 million at the end of September, 2015. At the initial stage, the number of subscribers are growing very slowly. In the recent year 2015, the number of mobile subscribers are growing rapidly.

After that it reached the milestone of 1 billion subscribers at the end of 2015. There are few factors for achieving this milestone. These factors are given below:

  • Expansion of mobile communication system in all over the India.
  • Attractive offers by mobile operators.
