Google Inc. is one of the most successful companies to run its business on the internet. It has been one of the most important players on the internet and have been providing a lot of services on the internet. Now it seems that the company has also decided to make a mark in the real world with their all new ‘Retail Stores’.

There have been extremely reliable sources which have indicated that the internet search giant ‘Google’ will soon enter the retail business with their own chain of retail outlets in the United States. This idea or rather business strategy is very similar to what Apple has been using since many years.

According to the report from technology blog 9to5google, there have been claims that ‘Google is in the process of building stand-alone retail stores in the U.S. and hopes to have the first flagship Google Stores open for the holidays in major metropolitan areas.’ The holiday season which starts from November and lasts till mid-January will be the time that Google wants to make things happen for them.

One of the most interesting questions that must be on your minds is ‘What exactly is Google planning to sell at these stores’ right? Well it is not the sales that the company is targeting, the main aim of these stores will be to inform users about the company’s hardware products and give them a hands-on user experience. These hardware products include laptops from the Google Chromebook series as well as smartphones and tablets from the Nexus series.

Google is also targeting these stores to be the main source through which the company can directly communicate and relate with the customers. The company has plans to demonstrate its new range of products like the Google Glass, X-Phone, X-Tablet and also the driverless car using these retail stores.

As of today, other technology companies like Apple and Microsoft already have their own chain of stores and Google will soon join the two with its own chain of retail stores.
