The dimensions of the HTC One are 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm. The dimensions of the Apple iPhone 5 are 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 (mm). Hence the Apple iPhone 5 is slimmer than the HTC One. Of course the HTC has a larger display and a much more powerful configuration, hence the dimension of 9.3 mm is justified.
The HTC One weighs about 143 grams. For a 4.7-inch smartphone, a weight of 143 grams is quiet normal and standard. The iPhone 5 weighs about 112 grams only. So even though the Apple iPhone 5 is a smartphone with a 4-inch display, it still manages to be way lighter than the HTC One.
