Samsung Galaxy S2
The Blackberry Z10 also seems to be really stunning and cool. The phone has a large display and its looks very much resemble that of the iPhone. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is one of the leading and popular smartphones in the world today. It has become a style icon for the young and trendy people. It has a good rectangular design and shape that looks rich and appealing.

The Super AMOLED Plus display along with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface makes a perfect combination for an excellent user experience.
The Blackberry Z10 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 225 GPU and a 2 GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor. This processor is supported by the Mali-400MP GPU and a 1 GB RAM. In terms of overall performance, the Blackberry Z10 is better than the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Blackberry Z10 runs on the latest Blackberry 10 operating system. This new OS is said to be the best OS from Blackberry till date. The Samsung Galaxy S2 run on an older version of Android, namely Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Android update has also been released for the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Blackberry Z10 has an in-built storage option of 16 GB only. This smartphone also has a micro SD card support which supports micro SD cards of up to 64 GB. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with in-built storage options of 16 and 32 GB. This smartphone also has a micro SD card support which supports cards of up to 32 GB. So compared to the amount of storage space you can expand using the micro SD card, the Z10 has the upper hand.
The Blackberry Z10 has an 8 MP Primary Camera with autofocus and LED flash. It also has a 2 MP Secondary Camera. Both these cameras support high definition image and video recording. The dimensions of the Blackberry Z10 are 130 x 65.6 x 9 (mm). The dimensions of Samsung Galaxy S2 are 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 (mm). So both these smartphones almost have the same thickness. There is a difference of 0.5 mm only.
The Blackberry Z10 weighs around 138 grams whereas the Samsung Galaxy S2 weighs just about 116 grams.. Here we get to see a lot of difference. Even though the Z10 is one of the newest smartphones in the market, it seems to be much more heavier than the smartphones already existing in the market. Of course, I do not mean to say that lightweight smartphones are always better but personally I prefer light weight devices.
Even though the Blackberry Z10 is a new smartphone, rather the next generation smartphone for Blackberry, the Samsung Galaxy S2 definitely puts up a decent fight. When you compare the hardware configuration and camera of these devices, the Galaxy S2 is almost able to match the Z10.
But this match is on paper, in spite of having a dual-core processor, the new Blackberry 10 operating system might boost the performance of this smartphone making it smooth and fast in spite of not having a quad-core processor just like in case of the iPhone 5.
So if you want to try out something new and interesting, the Blackberry Z10 is definitely a very good option. But if you are comfortable with Android and want a smartphone that is slim, light and performs really good then the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the answer.
